- Proofread books
- Good sense of copy editing, substantive editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience in copy editing/Proofreading as per the style sheet
- Experience in the incorporation of corrections
- Good English / Tamil language skills
- An excellent understanding of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
